Agartala 13th May 2022: Although elected for five years, the Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) all set to show its dedication towards the work in the 1st year itself. Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Deepak Majumder made the above statement while visiting Ward No. 17 here on Friday.

Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Deepak Majumder visited different wards of Municipal Corporation in compliance with the prescheduled plan. He has been looking into various issues that the people of the area are facing in this present time.

On Friday, the mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation visited Ward No. 17 area and interacted with the common people. He inspected various issues including road, drainage system, etc. of the ward while taking a note of the different issues. Later he assured that these problems will be solved gradually. He criticized the former Left Front-run city organization, saying "we will do what they have not been able to do in 25 years." He further said that they have been elected for five years, but in the 1st year itself, they will show how much good service the people of the AMC deserve and solve the various problems in mission mode.
