Agartala battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters 21 Sector Assam Rifles and Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organised a lecture at Gokulnagar Higher Secondary School, District Gomati on the occasion of World Health Day on 07 Apr 2021.

The lecture covered important aspects of leading a healthy life such as Diet & Nutrition, Physical Activity & Exercise, Mental Health and ill effects of Tobacco & Alcohol.

In addition to the above, the lecture also touched up on the COVID-19 pandemic, the nationwide vaccination drive and the importance of continued use of face masks, hand washing and social distancing. More than 80 students and teachers attended the event.
