The trailer of Deepika Padukone's upcoming film Chhapaak has become a hit in just 24 hours of its release. Not only her fans, but the film fraternity has also given a thumbs up to the 2-minute-20-second trailer. And the list includes actors like Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam.

Aamir, who is currently busy shooting for Laal Singh Chaddha in Chandigarh, took to Twitter to react to the trailer. Apart from appreciating it, he called Meghna Gulzar's directorial venture Chhapaak, "an important movie" and also congratulated the entire team of the film.

"Great trailer, and such an important movie! My congratulations and best wishes to Meghna, Deepika, Vikrant, Fox, and the entire team. Love." Aamir wrote in his tweet.

Alia in her Instagram story wrote that the trailer of Chhapaak is "very very moving". She also called Deepika and Meghna "special" in the post. Deepika took notice of Alia's story and shared it on her account. Deepika replied to Alia's post saying, "Thank you so much Aaloo B".

Alia had earlier worked with Meghna Gulzar in Raazi last year where she was paired opposite Vicky Kaushal. Vicky too praised the trailer of Deepika's film, while the latter thanked him. Apart from them, Yami Gautam was also bowled over by the trailer and the posters that were unveiled yesterday. Sharing Deepika's poster, Yami wrote, "A story that must be told! A journey that must be shared! Deepika, kudos to you for inspiring with such powerful cinema! It broke my heart, yet made me smile with you! Can’t wait for it #CHHAPAAK @deepikapadukone @meghna."

In another tweet, Yami appreciated Deepika's co-star Vikrant Massey, saying, "Vikrant, I have always admired your brilliance as an actor! Every performance of yours has always stayed with the audience! And with what sensitivity & restraint you have lived your role, it speaks volumes in the trailer itself! Can’t wait #CHHAPAAK @masseysahib @meghnagulzar (sic)."

Deepika's husband Ranveer Singh shared the trailer and posters of Chhapaak on his social media accounts but did not write anything along with it.
