After kick-starting the shoot of Kabir Khan’s ‘83 in England, Ranveer Singh, who will essay the role of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev in the film, took to social media to announce the wrap up of the London schedule of the film and post that, the cast and crew of the film returned to the bay to kick-start the Mumbai schedule of the film. Now, what we hear is that Deepika Padukone, who essays the role of Romi Dev in the film, has wrapped her portions in the film. That’s right!

According to a report in Mirror, Deepika Padukone wrapped up her portions in the film on Friday and that was when this Padmaavat actor headed to Lalbaugcha Raja to seek blessings of bappa and as soon as she reached the venue, she made headlines for the actress was mobbed by fans who wanted to click selfies with her. Prior to heading to London to shoot for Kabir Khan’s film, Deepika Padukone wrapped up Meghan Gulzar’s Chhapaak- in which she will play the role of an acid attacks survivor and after shooting for the film majorly in New Delhi, Deepika penned a heartfelt note on social media calling it as one of her most special films.

During an interview, Deepika Padukone opened up meeting Romi Dev, wife of Kapil Dev, in order to prepare for her role and she had said that she feels inspired every time she meets her and her energy is refreshing and she is intelligent and knowledgeable. Talking about the film, Ranveer Singh, will essay the role of Kapil Dev, former captain of Indian cricket team during 1983 World Cup, and besides Ranveer Singh, 83 will also star Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Ammy Virk, Harrdy Sandhu, Jiva, Sahil Khattar, Chirag Patil, Adinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, Dinker Sharma, Jatin Sarna, Nishant Dahiya, R Badree, Pankaj Tripathi and Zakir Hussain in key role.
