Bishalgarh police have arrested Suman Sinha, the main accused in the Kalkalia area murder case. It is learned that on December 30, a quarrel broke out between Suman Sinha and Titu Sarkar of the same area over cutting paddy in Kalkalia area under Bishalgarh subdivision.
Later, Suman Sinha got agitated and attacked Titu Sarkar with a load of paddy. Titu Sarkar fell to the ground on the spot. Titu Sarkar was rushed to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital in critical condition by his family members. Later he was referred to GB Hospital from Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital due to his deteriorating condition. Titu Sarkar later died while undergoing treatment at GB Hospital. The family then filed a murder case against Suman Sinha and her father Manik Sinha at Bishalgarh police station.
Bishalgarh police arrested Manik Sinha on January 7. But the police of Bishalgarh police station could not able to arrest Suman Sinha. Finally, on Tuesday, Suman Sinha was arrested and taken to court by the Bishalgarh police.
