Polling staffs left for polling station with EVMs

Agartala: June 22. The officials deployed for bye-elections in Tripura’s four assembly seats have left for their respective polling booths with EVM machines as the election in these four seats will be held on June 23 that is tomorrow.Today the polling staffs of 6 Agartala and 8 Town Bordowali Assembly constituencies have left for the polling stations assigned to their respective responsibilities. They were also accompanied by micro-observers, videographers.
This time all polling stations will have 100 percent web casting and video cameras will be available outside the polling stations. Every polling station will have this management.There are 56 polling stations in 22 locations in 8-Town Bordowali assembly constituency. And in 6-Agartala Assembly Constituency there are 55 polling stations in 26 locations.
CRPF personnel would be in charge of security at the polling booths till the end of poll and they will be on duty 24 hours a day in the interest of security so that there is no allegation of any kind of irregularity. Yesterday 22 hotels in Agartala assembly constituency were raided on Tuesday. The outsiders who were found in the hotel have been evicted from the hotel. And those hotels are being monitored constantly.
