Trinamool MPs attacked again in Tripura. TMC Activists alleged that a group of miscreants surrounded the Trinamool MPs and leaders and activists after hoisting the national flag in the Sabroom Nandigram area of the state. Allegedly, two female MPs were attacked.

According to party sources, MP Dola Sen’s PG  was seriously injured in the clash. Another MP, Aparupa Poddar said that her bag and phone had been snatched. Miscreants vandalized their car also. However, no complaint has been lodged with the police now. MP Dola Sen alleged that they were inaugurating the party office by hoisting the national flag in Sabroom. At that time, about 200 miscreants sheltered by the BJP attacked them, the MP alleged. According to the latest news, the MPs are stuck in Sabroom. The rest of the Trinamool MPs in Agartala are trying to contact with them.

Trinamool leader in charge in Tripura Malay Ghatak said, “BJP is afraid of us. They are being beaten so that my leaders cannot go on the field. ” However, the BJP has denied the allegations. In their words, the Trinamool is just pretending to get media coverage. It may be mentioned that Bratya Basu and Bashundhara Goswami returned to the state from Tripura this morning. Trinamool delegation has gone to Tripura on the occasion of Independence Day.
