Governor R N Ravi today paid floral tributes to former Prime Minister Atal

Bihari Vajpayee on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

Mr Naidu, who is on a week-long visit to the State, and Mr Ravi paid floral

tributes to a portrait of Mr Vajpayee at the Raj Bhavan.

In a tweet, Mr Naidu stressed the need for ensuring good governance at all

levels.

"On #GoodGovernanceDay, let us resolve to empower every Indian by ensuring

good governance at all levels", he said, tagging Mr Vajpayee's quote "empowering

the individual is empowering the nation. And empowerment is best served through

rapid economic growth with rapid social change" .
