Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that there was no difference in words and deeds of Bharatiya Janata Party which is committed towards the development of the entire nation including Uttar Pradesh and Yogi government has changed the picture of Bundelkhand in the last five years. Addressing election rallies at Sumerpur and Rath, Rajnath said, "A lot of development has been done in Bundelkhand during the BJP regime. Several irrigation projects have been implemented here. People benefited from the 'Har Ghar Nal' scheme. This ambitious scheme is being implemented with speed and not a single house will be left in the district which does not have water supply." He said that the double engine government of BJP has set new dimensions of development in the state and the electorate will write a new fate of UP in the ensuing polls. "Respecting the faith of crores of Ram Bhakts, it started construction of a grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya," he said. He said that at the time of partition a number of Hindu, Sikh and Parsis were forced to live in Pakistan, by passing the Citizenship Amendment Act the BJP government paved way for their return back to India. "The trust of the people is the capital of BJP which it will not allow to break," he said. Rajnath said that non-BJP parties are anti-development. "Development done by BJP cannot be compared with that of Samajwadi Party (SP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Congress. When BJP will come to power there will be free ration for the poor, jobs for youth and free medicines. BJP is dedicated to the poor," he said. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi withdrew the three farm laws because he does not have an ego. "India has become a powerful country under his leadership. Today if India says anything at international level all countries take it seriously," he said.
