Actor Priyanshu Painyuli widely known for his dynamic performances in ‘Mirzapur’, Hollywood film ‘Extraction’, ‘Rashmi Rocket’ and ‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’, recently ventured off-screen to fulfill a long cherished dream, learning to surf.
Embarking on a weeklong retreat to Sri Lanka, Priyanshu immersed himself in the elemental discipline of wave-riding, training along some of the island nation’s most picturesque and surf-acclaimed coastlines. He finally checked this enduring dream off his bucket list.
Speaking about the experience, Priyanshu said, “Surfing has been on my bucket list for the longest time. I’ve always been drawn to the ocean, there’s something incredibly humbling and powerful about the sea. Sri Lanka is such a beautiful place to learn this sport; the vibe, the people, and the waves are just perfect for beginners. I wanted to do something for myself, to reconnect, challenge myself, and feel the rush of doing something new and adventurous. Surfing gave me all of that and more.”
