Several leaders of the Pradesh Congress including veteran politician and former Chief Minister Samir Ranjan Barman and AICC secretary Szarita Laitphlang participated in this programme of the Youth Congress since July 18 last.

This demonstration is not only for the Youth Congress only. It is the struggle of each and every youth in our society, achieve their rights, etc. We appeal to all the youths to come forward and support the movement of Youth Congress. Moreover, the arrogant government in this state made several commitments like 50,000 jobs, government service on missed calls, etc, by befooling the common people, this BJP-led government came to power. Hence, the government had cheated the youths. At last, we appeal the youths to unite and raise voice against the government negligence towards them.”
