Agartala, September 05, 2022: A band show was organized at Matri Setu (Friendship Bridge) in Sabroom on Monday with the initiative of 96th battalion of BSF in presence of its commandant Lala Krishnan Kumar Lal. Sabroom MLA Shankar Roy, SDM Debdas Debbarma, SDPO Salpa Kumar Jamatia and Headmaster of Sabroom Higher Secondary School Dilip Das were also present on the occasion. The program started at 5 PM.
The entire program was conducted by Arun Kumar Panth, Company Commandant of F Company of the 96th Battalion of BSF. Enjoying the event, BSF Battalion Commandant Lala Krishnan Kumar Lal said that today’s program is aimed at strengthening friendly relations with the local people of the area and familiarizing them with the rituals of BSF. He said that this kind of program will be undertaken by the 96th battalion of BSF in the coming days.
