Agartala, January 08, 2023: In a national context, the 108th Indian Science Congress was held in Nagpur this year at its heritage campus celebrating centenary the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. The innovative project on analyzing the effects of Sanitizers on human body in connection with the pendemic situation practices of two child scientists from Tripura was well received and appreciated in the session which also won first place in the senior group category in the state Tripura level competition of the National Children Science Congress of NCSTC DST Govt of India.
On this occasion, this time their project will be displayed at national level exhibition at Rashtriya Kishore Vigyanik Sammelan at Dr APJ Abdul Kalam hall of fame at Indian Science Congress 2023 at Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. Abhinaba Banik and Abhrajit Das are students of class VIII of Vivek Nagar Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya.
Their project guide was teacher Deepak Kumar Kundu, who exhibited the project at ISC 2023 with the co-author of project.
A abstract of the project prepared by them and in ISC presented by co-author in presence of author has already been published in the Proceedings (Rays of Hope – Book of Abstracts 2023) of the Rashtriya Kishore Vigyanik Sammelan, the Student’s Scientific Conference as Branch Conference of the 108th Indian Science Congress and both the student Scientists have been recognized in this publication.
From last January 3rd to January 7th, this student scientists conference was held in the premises of Nagpur’s century-old Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University.
Abhinaba Banik and Abhrajyoti Das were gifted many collections of science papers by the Indian Science Congress Association authorities along with CSIR, DST, ISRO, DRDO etc on behalf of the 108th Indian Science Congress. Abhinaba Banik and Abhrajyoti Das have also been invited as eminent child scientists to take student membership of the Indian Science Congress Association as per the organizational rules in future.
It is noted that Abhinaba Banik’s project and research paper won the first place in the senior group at the Tripura State-level National Children’s Science Congress 2022 session and accordingly, Abhinaba Banik under the guidance of State Coordinators of state Tripura NCSC will participate in the national level competition with his research project as the project leader in the national session of the National Children’s Science Congress to be held on January 26 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Abhinaba Banik has been paid his regards to all concern who greeted and extended help to him in doing the research on pendemic practices.
Abhinaba Banik also previously awarded with India International Sarabhai Student Scientist Award 2020 by one VIPNET Club affiliated to Vigyan Prasar Dept of Science and Technology Govt of India and also been nominated for Pradhanmantri Raashtriya Bal Paruskar for 2023.
