Agartala, 11th April 2026: The ADC election is set to be held tomorrow, April 12, with the administration making extensive preparations to ensure a free, fair, and peaceful voting process.
On Saturday, under the supervision of Returning Officer Shanti Ranjan Chakma, polling officials departed from the Santirbazar Sub-Divisional Office with EVM machines, escorted by strict security arrangements, to their respective destinations.
According to administrative sources, the 26 Birchandra-Kalshi constituency has a total of 45 polling stations. The constituency has 37,526 registered voters, including 18,890 women and 18,636 men.
Voting will begin tomorrow morning, with authorities confirming that security measures have been intensified across the constituency to maintain order during the election.
