Agartala, 22nd February 2025 : The Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission’s Winner Women’s Cluster Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited organized an award distribution ceremony for cluster-level beneficiaries today. The event was inaugurated by MLA Jitendra Majumdar, who lit the lamp to commence the ceremony.
Tepania Block BDO Dibyashree Dasgupta, Panchayat Samiti Chairman Jharna Rani Das, Local Panchayat Pradhan Thakur Das and other guests were present.
In his speech, MLA Jitendra Majumdar emphasized the importance of empowering women’s groups and village organizations under the Winner Women’s Cluster. He highlighted the need for development in areas such as livelihood, health, education, rights, and the overall well-being of every family in the village.
“The dedication of SHG, VO, and CLF workers in ensuring that villagers receive the benefits of various state and central government schemes promptly is truly commendable,” said MLA Majumdar.
All guests presented awards to the SHG sisters, creating a moment of unity and recognition. The event received an overwhelmingly positive response from attendees and local’s support for the initiatives undertaken by the Winner Women’s Cluster.
