Ballot Box leaves for Delhi from Agartala

Agartala July 19: After the voting process for Presidential election ended on Monday, Ballot box from Tripura left for Delhi amid heavy security. Tripura Election Department CEO Kiran Gitte remained present during the despatching of the ballot box.

The Assistant Returning Officer left for Delhi with the ballot box.The ballot box was kept in the strong room of the assembly under strict security.On Tuesday, the Assistant Returning Officer took the ballot box and left for Delhi by air. He will deposit the box in the Parliament Returning Officer’s office. 

Polling conducted successfully in free, fair and transparent manner at the Parliament House on Monday and in each of the 30 places of poll in State legislative assemblies including Legislative Assembly of NCT of Delhi and UT of Puducherry.
