Agartala, 19th May 2025: A Job Fair was successfully organized today by the Placement Cell of Bir Bikram Memorial College in collaboration with the CII Model Career Centre at the Conference Hall of BBM College.
A total of 89 aspirants participated in the event. Dr. Basudeb Bhattacharya, Coordinator of the Placement Cell provided valuable counselling to the students, guiding them on career opportunities. Dr. Samir Kumar Diabagh, Associate Professor and a member of the Placement Cell encouraged students to actively take part in such initiatives to enhance their career prospects.
Litan Deb, Mobiliser of the CII Model Career Centre gave a detailed briefing about the companies (Leading recruiters like Tata Electronics, Sun Bright Manpower Solutions Pvt. Ltd, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt Ltd etc) including information on job vacancies, company profiles, expected salary packages, and the selection process. He also carried out the shortlisting of candidates for the next stages.
The program was further enriched by the gracious presence of Dr. Sujit Das, Head of the Department of Commerce, and Dr. Manidip Roy, Head of the Department of Economics who lent their support and encouragement to the event
