Agartala, 2nd March 2026: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has laid the foundation stone for a new party office at Birchandra Manu market under the Santirbazar Mandal. The initiative was led by Mandal president Debasish Bhowmik, who has been working to strengthen organizational activities across villages, hills, and plains since assuming office.
For years, the absence of a permanent Mandal office had posed challenges for party workers and supporters in conducting organizational programs. The new facility is expected to ease these difficulties, providing a dedicated space for meetings, outreach, and other activities.
Party sources said the Birchandra Manu office will play a crucial role in energizing grassroots-level operations. Local workers expressed optimism that the permanent office will make it easier to coordinate events, hold organizational discussions, and expand public engagement.
Leaders present at the ceremony noted that Bhowmik has been consistently working to expand the party’s presence and unite workers at the ground level. They voiced confidence that the new office will further boost BJP’s organizational momentum in the region.
