Agartala, 8th September 2025 : To mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday on September 17, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Yuva Morcha will organize a Yuva Marathon in Agartala on September 21.
Addressing a press conference at the state BJP office on Monday, Pradesh BJP Yuva Morcha president Sushant Deb announced the details of the event. He said the nationwide initiative is being organized in 100 cities across the country, with an expected participation of nearly 10 lakh people.
“In Tripura, we hope around 10,000 youths will join the marathon,” Deb said. The run will begin at 6 a.m. in front of Ujjayant Prasad and conclude at the Gandhi statue near Circuit House.
State BJP leaders including Yuva Morcha General Secretary Shambhu Lal Chakma, State Spokesperson Amlan Chakraborty, and Sports Cell In-charge Pradip Debnath were also present at the press meet.
