Agartala, 5th November 2025:  In a decisive move aimed at maintaining public order, the Dharmanagar Sub-Divisional Administration has sealed the office of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) for an indefinite period. The announcement was made earlier today by Additional Sub-Divisional Magistrate (ADM) David Halam during a press briefing.

ADM Halam stated that the decision was prompted by a series of recent incidents that had heightened tensions in the area. “In light of certain provocative developments, the administration was compelled to take this step to safeguard law and order,” he said. He further clarified that the office will remain under administrative supervision until a thorough review of the situation is conducted and further decisions are made.

The move has sparked mixed reactions among local residents. While some have welcomed it as a necessary measure to prevent unrest, others have voiced dissatisfaction, questioning the proportionality of the action.

The administration has urged the public to remain calm and cooperate as it continues to monitor the situation closely.
