Agartala, 7th November 2025: A car veered off the road and broke through a bridge railing in Reshmbagan early this morning, plunging into a roadside drain. The incident took place around 7 am, prompting immediate concern among local residents.
Locals reported that the vehicle lost control before crashing into the drain adjacent to the bridge. Within minutes, residents gathered at the scene, but no injuries were reported.
Locals alleged that the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. “It looked like he couldn’t control the car properly. This created a very dangerous situation,” said one resident.
Authorities have yet to confirm the cause of the crash, but the incident has raised concerns about road safety and impaired driving in the area.
