Agartala, November 2, 2023: A heart-wrenching incident unfolded as a 15-year-old Class X student, Sushmita Rudra Pal, lost her life in a tragic accident while attempting to charge her mobile phone. The unfortunate incident occurred when Sushmita suffered an electric shock from a broken electrical board around 12 noon on Wednesday.
In a desperate attempt to save Sushmita, her father, Pradip Rudrapal, also sustained injuries during the incident. Subsequently, Sushmita was promptly rescued and rushed to Jirania Hospital, where the attending doctor referred her to GB Hospital for further medical care. Despite the efforts made to save her life, Sushmita tragically passed away at approximately 3 am.
Following the unfortunate event, a post-mortem examination was conducted, and the young student’s body was handed over to her grieving family on Thursday. The family, engulfed in sorrow, struggled to come to terms with the heartbreaking loss.
