Agartala, 9th November 2025 : Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha today presided over an organisational meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), focusing on preparations for the upcoming Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections and strengthening the party’s organisational framework across the state.
The meeting was attended by BJP Tripura President and Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharya, General Secretary Amit Rakshit, former MP Rebati Tripura, along with the party’s Vice Presidents and Morcha leaders.
Following the meeting, Dr. Saha informed that the discussions centered on organisational issues and strategies to bolster the party’s grassroots strength ahead of the local body and TTAADC elections.
“Today, we held a meeting with party leaders to discuss various organisational matters. With the local body and TTAADC elections approaching, our discussions were primarily focused on internal strengthening,” the Chief Minister said.
Dr. Saha further clarified that no talks regarding alliance partners were held during the meeting, reiterating that the main agenda was to reinforce the BJP’s organisational structure and readiness for the upcoming polls.
Currently, the TTAADC is administered by the Tipra Motha Party, which is presently in alliance with the BJP in Tripura.
