CM writes to Railway Ministry to solve fuel crisis in state

Agartala, 8th May 2024 :  In a proactive move aimed at alleviating the ongoing petrol shortage gripping the state, Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha has personally intervened, addressing a letter to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnab.

Expressing deep concern over the widespread inconvenience caused by the scarcity of petrol, the Chief Minister underscored the urgency of finding a swift and effective solution to the crisis.

With the state grappling with fuel shortages leading to long queues at petrol stations and disruptions in daily life, Chief Minister Saha has taken a hands-on approach, personally overseeing efforts to address the situation.

Assuring citizens of his commitment to resolving the issue expediently, he has indicated that railway authorities will be taking decisive steps within the next 2-3 days to mitigate the petrol shortage.
