Covid-19: Tripura records fresh 216 positive cases

Agartala: July 19. The Covid cases in Tripura is taking a news shape as the number has started decreasing after a sharp rise in the Covid cases.In the last 24 hours, 216 new corona infections have been found.  Meanwhile, 240 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. But the most worrying thing is that the infection in West Tripura district is increasing at a rapid pace.

According to the health department’s media bulletin, 134 samples were tested by RT-PCR and 1727 by rapid antigen in the last 24 hours. Out of that, 19 in RT-PCR and 197 in Rapid Antigen were found to be infected with corona in the body of total 216people. As a result, the daily infection rate has now risen to 11.61% percent. 240 people have recovered in the last 24 hours.

Out of this, currently there are 2228 active patients with Corona in Tripura. Incidentally, 101, 064 people have been infected with Corona in Tripura so far. Among them, 101, 064 people have recovered after getting rid of the infection.

Currently, the rate of corona infection in the state has increased to 4.13 percent. Similarly, the recovery rate has decreased to 96.91percent. Meanwhile, the death rate was 0.88 percent. Besides, 921 people have died due to corona in Tripura so far.
