Agartala, 26th February 2026:   A wave of grief swept through Netaji Para, near Sabroom Sub-Divisional Hospital, early this morning after the sudden recovery of a dead body.

Local sources informed, the deceased has been identified as Matendra Tripura (38), an employee of the ARD department. Originally from Bishnupur in Rupaichari block, he was living as a tenant in the residence of Chandra Shekhar Roy.

Neighbors reported that when Tripura failed to open his door in the morning, fellow tenants called out to him. Receiving no response, they entered the room and found him lying motionless on the floor beside his bed.

Police were immediately informed and reached the spot to examine the situation. A forensic team and a magistrate from the subdivision later joined the investigation. Authorities confirmed that the body would be sent to Sabroom Sub-Divisional Hospital for post-mortem examination.

Colleagues expressed shock, stating that Tripura had spoken with them the previous night and appeared to be in good health. His sudden death has cast a pall of sorrow across the neighborhood, leaving residents deeply shaken.
