Agartala, 9th October 2024: The Dharmanagar Vedic Naturopathy and Therapy Center was officially inaugurated by State Assembly Speaker Biswa Bandhu Sen on Wednesday morning. The event was graced by the presence of Assistant Medical Superintendent Dr. Sandip Roy.
In his inaugural address, Speaker Sen highlighted the significance of India’s Vedic Ayurvedic traditions in promoting health and wellness. He noted that while similar therapies in Kerala require substantial financial investment, the Dharmanagar center offers these beneficial treatments at a more affordable cost.
Dr. Sandip Roy, an allopathic specialist with a profound respect for Ayurvedic practices, emphasized the complementary nature of allopathic and Ayurvedic medicine. He praised the center’s approach to treating chronic ailments that often do not respond to conventional medicine, citing the ancient Indian physician Sushruta as an exemplar of the rich heritage of Vedic Ayurveda.
The inauguration marks a significant step towards integrating traditional Ayurvedic therapies with modern medical practices, aiming to provide holistic health solutions to the community.
