Agartala, 5th June 2024: In a collaborative effort between Ashwini Netralaya, Agartala Press Club, and Lions Club, an eye test camp was successfully organized at the Agartala Press Club premises on Wednesday. The camp provided essential eye care services, expert doctors examining attendees and providing necessary medication and guidance.
A total of 76 journalists and their family members availed themselves of the medical services and received crucial advice during the camp, which ran from 11 am to 4 pm. The event was formally inaugurated by Veteran journalist and senior Editor Subal Kumar Dey with Agartala Press Club President Jayanta Bhattacharjee presiding over the proceedings.
The camp witnessed the presence of notable figures including veteran journalist and Editor Arun Nath, President of Lions Club of Agartala Anish Rupshree Pal and Secretary Biswajit Banik among others. Dr. Subrata Saha, Dr. Anurag Majumdar, and Dr. Ranjan Bose represented Ashwini Netralaya contributing to the success of the event.
Acknowledging the significance of the occasion, Press Club Secretary Ramakanta Dey along with joint secretaries Kamal Chowdhury and Abhishek Dey extended warm welcomes to the esteemed guests, offering refreshments and souvenirs as tokens of appreciation.
