Agartala, 16th May 2025:  The Gomati district administration organized a special felicitation ceremony on Friday afternoon at the conference hall of the Gomati Zilla Parishad, felicitating the principals of 37 schools that achieved a 100% pass rate in this year’s board examinations. Additionally, the top 25 students from the district were recognized for their outstanding performance in the Tripura board exams.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Gomati Zilla Parishad Sabhadipati Debal Debroy, District Magistrate Tarit Kanti Chakma and Udaipur Municipal Council Chairman Shital Chandra Majumdar. Although the program was conducted on a smaller scale due to the absence of Tripura’s finance minister, Pranajit Singha Roy, who was out of state, the district administration assured that a grander event would be held upon his return.

As part of the “Beti Bachao – Beti Padhao” initiative, the Gomati District Administration announced plans to award a cash prize of Rs 10,000 to the meritorious students upon the minister’s return. The administration aims to encourage healthy competition and foster greater enthusiasm among students in the coming years.

Sabhadipati Debal Debroy expressed gratitude to the administration for organizing the event and praised the efforts of schools, students, teachers, and parents in achieving remarkable results. He extended his best wishes to schools that did not attain a 100% success rate, hoping they will achieve excellence in the next academic year.

The Gomati District Administration continues to work towards fostering academic excellence and motivating students to strive for greater achievements.
