Agartala, 4th October 2023 : In a proactive move towards enhancing healthcare services, Director of the Health Department Dr. Supriyo Mallick, and Director of Family Welfare and Preventive Medicien, Dr. Anjan Das, undertook a thorough assessment of various health centers in Sepahijala district today.
As per a press release from Health Department, their visit encompassed a range of critical areas, including the seamless provision of medical services, uninterrupted supply of medicines, meticulous dengue diagnosis, efficient emergency services, and the maintenance of impeccable hospital hygiene.
Dr. Mallick further issued specific directives to the overseeing physician at Takchapara Primary Health Center, emphasizing the importance of upholding cleanliness in the hospital’s vicinity, as well as ensuring optimal health service delivery.
They visited Sukumar Barman Primary Hospital, with a special focus on the upkeep of the emergency department and the organized management of vehicles within the hospital premises.
Moving forward, the officials conducted a thorough inspection of the construction progress at Melaghar Sub-Divisional Hospital, with Dr. Mallick advocating for the precise renovation of the hospital’s current entrance for enhanced accessibility.
The health officials’ tour also encompassed a visit to the Primary Health Center, where they scrutinized the work of lab technicians and other healthcare personnel, offering valuable recommendations to further augment their services.
In addition, the construction status of the boundary wall at Microsa Para Primary Hospital was meticulously reviewed, underscoring the commitment to fortifying healthcare infrastructure.
Further validating their dedication, Dr. Mallick and Dr. Das extended their assessments to Nidaya Primary Health Centre, Kathalia Social Health Centre, and Dhanpur Primary Health Centre, examining the infrastructure and services with a discerning eye. The visit continued with stops at Sonamura Social Health Centre and Boxanagar Social Health Centre, illustrating a comprehensive approach towards healthcare evaluation.
