Agartala, 18th January 2026: A grand Hindu conference was organized in Dharmanagar today to mark the centenary celebrations of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Hindus from across North Tripura district came together in unity to participate in the event.
The conference began at 1:30 p.m. at the BBI School ground in Dharmanagar. Several thousand devotees including men, women, children and the elderly joined the gathering. The atmosphere of the town turned festive and devotional, resonating with chants of “Jai Shri Ram”, devotional songs, Hari Sankirtan, and cultural performances. Children dressed as various deities presented dance, music, and traditional Chorok performances, adding vibrancy to the occasion.
The event was graced by Justice (Retd.) Pran Krishna Pal, President of the organizing committee; Debashis Sen, General Secretary and former district Karyavah of RSS; Bhakti Prasad Keshav Maharaj; and Senapati Roy, a retired agriculture department employee and RSS Prant Karyavah from Udaipur, Gomati Tripura.
Invited saints and spiritual leaders included Swami Srimad Bhakti Saudha Jitendriya Maharaj, Akshadananda Nitai Das, Swami Okarananda Giri Maharaj, B.K. Mamoni of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya University, Dharmanagar, and Swami Omkarananda Brahmachari.
The conference witnessed participation from RSS workers, local representatives, supporters, and well-wishers across all sections of society. The program concluded with the distribution of Maha Prasad, reinforcing the spirit of devotion and community harmony.
RSS North District Karyavah Bijoy Bhattacharjee informed the media that the conference was a resounding success, reflecting the collective enthusiasm of the people of Dharmanagar.
