Agartala: August 22. In a puzzling turn of events, Dipa Das, a housewife has reportedly gone missing while dropping her son Pranabananda School in Joynagar on Tuesday morning.

The incident has left her family and local authorities baffled, prompting a frantic search to determine her whereabouts.

Dipa Das reportedly left her father’s house, where she was resting due to illness, on Monday morning to accompany her son to school.

According to her family, the doctor had advised her to rest, leading her to temporarily stay at her father’s residence. On Tuesday morning, Dipa left her father’s house to drop her son off at school, but she never returned home after completing the task.

Expressing concern over her disappearance, Dipa’s brother revealed that she had been unwell, prompting the doctor’s recommendation for rest. The family’s anxiety deepened as she failed to return home even hours after dropping her son off at school. This prompted the school to contact the family, urging them to retrieve the young boy. Consequently, Dipa’s husband went to the school and brought their son home.

Later, the family registered a missing dairy report at the West Women Police Station. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the matter.
