Agartala, April 19, 2023: A training programme was organized by Math Training & Talent Search (MTTS) trust under National Board for Higher Mathematics, Department of Atomic Energy of the Government of India and hosted by the ICFAI University, Tripura for Initiation into Mathematics (InitMath) to aspire Mathematic students of North East India from April 10 to 15 last.
The program was designed to enhance competitive Mathematics skills and knowledge to succeed in various math competitions and built a career in Mathematics.
Prof Dr Biplab Halder, the Vice Chancellor of the ICFAI University, Tripura has inaugurated the program on April 10 last along with other resource persons Prof Bhaba Kumar Sarma of the IIT Guwahati, Dr UdaySankar Chakraborty of the Assam University, Dr Shouvik Bhattacharya of the Tripura University.
The training programme helped the students in quick thinking and solving of complex mathematics. 42 students from various colleges and universities from Assam, Manipur, Nagaland and Tripura participated in the program and benefited from the training program.
The whole programme was coordinated by Dr Prasenjit Bal, Assistant Professor of Department of Mathematics of the ICFAI University, Tripura.
