Agartala, 7th November 2024:  A lorry bearing registration number TR01N-1717 lost control while heading towards Bishalgarh and caused significant damage in the Puranbari area late last night. The lorry crashed into a passenger restroom, broke the boundary of the Puran Bari Netaji Sangh Club and collided with a badminton sports complex before coming to a stop.

The loud crash drew villagers to the scene, where they found the lorry driver, Montu Sarkar, who was reportedly intoxicated. Eyewitnesses believe that had the accident occurred during the day, it could have resulted in several fatalities.

Local authorities, including the police from Bishalgarh and Bishramganj police stations quickly arrived at the scene.
