Major Political Shift in Kulai–Champahour: 33 Voters from 12 Families Join BJP

Agartala, 8th April 2026:  In a strong show of growing public confidence and political momentum, 33 voters from 12 families belonging to Kulai Gantachera VC and NG Para, Bagmara VC under Kulai–Champahour Constituency have formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), leaving behind the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPIM) and the Tipra Motha Party (TMP).

This significant political shift has been made possible under the dynamic and grassroots-driven leadership of Shri Khupso Halam and Shri Bhim Singh Jamatia, whose relentless efforts, people-first approach, and strong connect with local communities continue to inspire confidence across the constituency.

The newly joined families stated that their decision was driven by the visible development initiatives, transparent governance, and inclusive policies being championed by the BJP leadership in the region. They expressed faith that under the guidance of Shri Khupso Halam and Shri Bhim Singh Jamatia, the aspirations of every household will be addressed with sincerity and commitment.
