Agartala, 22nd July 2025: Tripura Fisheries, Scheduled Caste Welfare and ARDD Minister Sudhangshu Das today chaired a state-level review meeting of the Fisheries, SC Welfare, and Animal Resources Development Departments at the West District Magistrate’s Office in Agartala.
Speaking to the media, the Minister informed that this meeting marked the final leg of the 2025–26 financial year’s departmental review process. “This is part of a continuous review program being conducted across districts. Today’s meeting in the West District completes our statewide departmental assessment,” he said.
The discussions focused on the utilization of allocated funds, implementation status of various skill development and welfare schemes under the three departments, and the overall progress made so far. Officials presented action taken reports, which were reviewed in detail, and further decisions were taken based on these reports.
“We also deliberated on how to effectively implement the current financial year’s budget and ensure timely distribution of benefits to the public. Completion of projects within the stipulated timeframe remains our priority,” Das added.
Senior officials from the concerned departments and district administration were present at the meeting.
