Agartala, 12th October 2025 : Tripura Police have successfully rescued a minor girl who was reportedly abducted from her residence in Indranagar, Agartala, on the night of October 10–11, 2025.
According to an official statement, the New Capital Complex Police Station received information about the incident late at night, prompting immediate action. Multiple police teams were deployed across the state to trace the girl and apprehend the alleged kidnappers.
“The operation was closely supervised by senior police officials. The minor girl was located and rescued from the Maharani area in Udaipur Subdivision, under the jurisdiction of RK Pur Police Station, Gomati District, during the night of October 11–12, 2025,” the statement said.
Authorities have identified four individuals connected to the case—one adult and three juveniles. The adult suspect has been arrested and will be produced in court, while the three juveniles will be sent to the Juvenile Justice Board.Following the completion of all legal procedures, the rescued girl has been safely returned to her parents.
