Miscreants attack Amra Bangali worker with sharp weapons

Agartala, March 22: In a boozing party, miscreants reconciled their previous enmity by injuring a worker of Amra Bangali at Ambedkar Colony, Jogendranagar on the night of Tuesday last.

It is reported that the miscreants seriously injured a worker of Amra Bengali party named Tapas Sarkar with sharp weapons. The incident rose after breaking a cup in a tea shop. The accused are Tapan Sarkar and Kabi Krishna Das.

The injured youth Tapas said that there was trouble with two youths named Tapan Sarkar and Kabi Krishna Das even before the election. After breaking the cup of tea on this day, Tapan hit Tapas on the head with a sharp knife after commenting on it. When he fell down on the ground, the locals informed his family members.

Receiving information, family members arrived at the spot and found Tapas lying on the ground in a pool of blood. He was immediately rescued and shifted to GBP Hospital. He is currently undergoing treatment at GBP Hospital. He said that a case will be filed against the two accused youths with the local police station.
