BY TC News Desk

Agartala, 7th February 2025:   A mobile shop owner Partha Saha has been accused of murdering his employee Rahul Acharya in GB Bazar. Despite the severity of the allegation, the police have yet to arrest the accused and the GB Bazar Committee is reportedly ignoring the family’s complaints. The family alleges a major altercation led to the incident.

On January 31, the grieving family sought justice in the market, but their pleas were ignored. Rahul Acharya, an employee at Saha Communication for four years had a dispute with the shop owner Partha Saha, who allegedly assaulted Rahul and removed the SIM card from his phone.

Rahul’s body was later found hanging near ILS Hospital, raising suspicion of foul play. The family accuses the police and market committee of attempting to cover up the murder. They demand a thorough investigation, the arrest of the accused, and severe punishment for the responsible party.
