Agartala, 29th October 2025: Tension and concern have gripped the Aralia Rishipara locality following the mysterious disappearance of a 26-year-old woman and her seven-year-old daughter. Rekha Rishi Das and her child have been missing since the evening of October 23, sparking widespread anxiety among residents.
According to Rekha’s husband, the duo went missing after dusk that day and have not been seen since. Despite extensive inquiries among relatives and neighbors, no clues have emerged. A formal complaint was lodged with the local police, but even after seven days, there has been no breakthrough in tracing the missing mother and child.
The husband alleged that repeated attempts to seek help from the police yielded no satisfactory response. Frustrated by the lack of progress, he has now turned to the media, urging authorities to conduct a thorough investigation and expedite efforts to locate his wife and daughter.
Police officials have confirmed that an investigation is underway and assured that all possible measures are being taken to trace the missing individuals.
