Agartala, 21st October 2024: Celebrating its 15th anniversary, Naba Chintan Welfare Society, a well-known social organization in Teliamura town once again showcased its commitment to social welfare. Established in 2010 by a group of dedicated individuals, the organization has been a cornerstone of community service in Teliamura and its surrounding areas.
Over the past 15 years, Naba Chintan Welfare Society has been actively involved in numerous social initiatives, including the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, distribution of textbooks to underprivileged students, tree plantation programs, and various awareness seminars. Their efforts have garnered widespread recognition and appreciation across the state.
In honor of their 15th anniversary, a delegation from Naba Chintan Welfare Society visited several schools and Anganwadi Centers in Teliamura and nearby areas to distribute study materials, including textbooks, to young students. The program was led by the organization’s secretary Chiranjib Deb alongside other dedicated volunteers.
“This 15th anniversary is a special milestone for us. We wanted to do something meaningful, so we decided to visit remote areas and provide study materials to students who need them the most. It’s our way of giving back to the community that has supported us for so long,” said Deb.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from the society’s volunteers. “Our volunteers have shown tremendous enthusiasm and dedication in organizing this program. Their spontaneity and commitment are truly commendable,” Deb added.
The society has been consistent in its efforts to support the less fortunate and contribute positively to the community. “We have been engaged in various social activities for many years, and we aim to continue our work to benefit society and stand by those in need. Our programs will carry on in the coming days, and we hope to make a lasting impact,” said Deb.
