Agartala: August 18. Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Friday said that the developing of tourism sector in the state, various projects have been proposed with the financial support of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).
Minister Chowdhury today said, “Our present government is trying to enrich the economy of the state by developing the tourism industry and for this, extensive initiatives are being taken by the state tourism department. Various projects have been proposed to develop tourism in the state with the financial support of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (#NABARD)”.
He said that on this matter a meeting with the officials held in the chamber of the minister.
“In the meeting, the acceptance and implementation of various projects with the financial support of NABARD were discussed in detail”, he said.
Uttam Kumar Chakma, Secretary, Tourism Department, Loken Das, Regional General Manager of NABARD, Diganta Kumar Das, Deputy General Manager of NABARD, Bodhayan Ghosh, Assistant Manager, Tripura Tourism Development Corporation. Ltd. Director Tapan Kumar Das along with other officials met in an important meeting.
