Agartala, 6th June 2024 : In a celebratory gathering at the Suryakiran Auditorium, newly elected MP from West Tripura Lok Sabha constituency, Biplab Kumar Deb shared a moment of triumph with party karyakartas at Bishalgarh Mandal. The event was marked by traditional fanfare saw MLA Sushanta Deb and other dignitaries welcome Deb with cultural symbols of victory.
“The overwhelming support from our godlike officials has been the cornerstone of this monumental victory,” declared Biplab Kumar Deb, expressing his gratitude. “It’s not just our party faithful but also former opposition supporters who have shown faith in our vision, contributing to the 75 percent vote share we achieved,” he added, emphasizing the importance of nurturing these newfound relationships.
The victory celebrations continued at Lila Deb Community Hall where Deb met with Charilam assembly constituency’s karyakartas. The gathering was graced by BJP’s Pradesh Secretary Mousumi Das, District President Gouranga Bhowmik, and Mandal President Rajkumar Debnath among others.
In his address, Deb highlighted the national political landscape, “With Prime Minister Narendra Modi set to take oath for an unprecedented third term, the few seats lost are but a minor setback. The NDA’s continued governance is a testament to our unwavering commitment to the nation,” he stated confidently.
Deb also pointed out the significant strides made in regional politics, “For the first time, the lotus blooms in Odisha, while we continue to strengthen our roots in Arunachal Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. The collective victory of the NDA in these states, alongside the Lok Sabha elections, is a historic achievement,” he remarked.
The BJP’s impressive performance, outshining a coalition of 28 parties, and the Left Front’s limited success to only four seats nationwide, were underscored as indicators of the shifting political tides in India.
