Agartala, February 22, 2023: An election review meeting was held with the district leadership and functionaries in the presence of the BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee at the South (Pilak) district BJP office and Atal Bhawan in Belonia on Wednesday.
Bhattacharjee was also accompanied by party’s nominated candidates of Belonia and Hrishyamukh assembly constituencies Dibapayan Chowdhury and Gautam Sarkar, BJP South District General Secretary Biswanath Das and other senior functionaries.
Ahead of the election results, he interacted directly with all the functionaries to congratulate the party with certainty of victory. Besides, he gave a strong message to build resistance by legal means without stepping on any instigation of the opposition party.
Later, they went to see the physical condition of BJP functionaries Debajit Das and Gopal Bhowmik, who were attacked by CPIM-backed miscreants. While speaking to media persons, Bhattacharjee assured the sure defeat of leftist Sudip Barman. BJP state president also lashed out at his manners and political stance.
