Agartala, March 14. Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Agartala observed the ‘Ombudsman Speak – World Consumer Rights Day March 15, 2023′ by organizing a Cycle Rally on Tuesday at the Ujjayanta Palace Compound.
The event was organized in collaboration with Agartala Cycloholics Foundation, a local cycling community focused on creating public awareness on using cycles as eco-friendly mode of transportation.
The rally was flagged off by the chief guest of the event, Satwant Singh Sahota, General Manager (Officer-in-Charge), RBI Agartala. Dignitaries from other major banks were also present to mark the event.
A street painting on the theme of ‘World Consumer Rights Day’ was also arranged at the palace compound. These initiatives of RBI disseminated message on consumer protection and grievance redressal in an environment friendly mechanism.
