Agartala, 25th October 2024 : Under the initiative of Rotary Club Dharmanagar, winter vegetable seeds were distributed to 60 farmers in South Ganganagar Gram Panchayat on Friday at 11 am. The distribution took place at the Panchayat Puja Mandap.
The event was attended by Gram Panchayat Pradhan T. Jaya Shukla Baidya and Upa-Pradhan Jaya Debnath. Rotary Club Dharmanagar President Rotarian Santosh Sutradhar, along with Rotarians Subir Som, Barun Das, Prasenjit Chakraborty and Sujit Nath were also present.
“Rotary Club Dharmanagar has adopted South Ganganagar Panchayat and this is the second time we are distributing seeds here. We have also implemented other programs, including a tailoring institution, to support the community,” said Rotarian Santosh Sutradhar.
The Rotary Club’s efforts continue to contribute significantly to the development of the village and the well-being of its residents.
