Speaker Biswa Bandhu Sen attends a tree planting ceremony at Dharmanagar

Agartala, 17th June 2024:   A tree planting ceremony organized by the Navarag Sangh Club took place on Monday morning at Hospital Road in Dharmanagar. The event commenced at around 8:30 am, was a community effort to promote environmental consciousness in the area.

The initiative aligns with the call from Dharmanagar MLA and State Assembly Speaker, Biswa Bandhu Sen for a cleaner and greener Dharmanagar. Sen’s campaign, “Clean Dharmanagar, Green Dharmanagar, Love Dharmanagar,” has garnered widespread support across the district.

Despite the rainy weather, participants showed up with great enthusiasm to plant trees. Along with Speaker Sen, Yuva Morcha Dharmanagar Mandal President Rahul Kishore Roy and the President and Secretary and members of the Navarag Sangh Club were present.

The community’s spirited involvement in the ceremony highlights the collective commitment to environmental sustainability and the beautification of Dharmanagar.
