Agartala, 9th January 2025 :  Abhinaba Banik, a class 10 student from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Viveknagar, Tripura, visited the highly protected main building of Rashtrapati Bhavan today. This special visit was part of his role as the State Youth Icon Student-Scientist, an opportunity provided by the Department of Youth and Sports, Government of Tripura.

Abhinaba, accompanied by a group of Youth Icon enthusiasts, explored various parts of Rashtrapati Bhavan, including the Durbar Hall and Ashok Hall. This visit comes ahead of India’s Republic Day celebrations and the upcoming 75th Republic Day.

In 2020, Abhinaba achieved significant success in a national-level painting competition organized by the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum. His artwork is still displayed in digital form at the museum, contributing to his recognition and special access to Rashtrapati Bhavan during this visit.

The state team received a warm welcome from Rashtrapati Bhavan’s special officers, who guided them through the historical and heritage aspects of the premises.
