BY TC News Desk

Agartala, February 24: The Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist), or SUCI(C), has joined the International Coordination of Revolutionary Parties (ICOR), a platform of Marxist-Leninist parties from around the world. The ICOR was formed by the Marxist-Leninist Party of Germany (MLPD) in response to the ongoing wars in Palestine and Ukraine.

The ICOR has declared February 24 as the “Day Against War” and called for worldwide protests to demand an end to the imperialist aggression and intervention in these regions. SUCI(C) has supported this call and organized anti-war rallies and meetings in every state capital of India on Saturday.

In Tripura, the SUCI(C) state committee held a demonstration at Battala, where speakers condemned the war crimes committed by the US, Israel, and NATO forces and expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine and Ukraine. They also criticized the Indian government for its pro-imperialist stance and urged the masses to join the anti-war movement.
