Agartala: June 08. Animal Resources Development Department (ARDD), Fisheries Department and Scheduled Caste Welfare Department Minister Sudhangshu Das today chaired a review meeting.
The Minister discussed the progress of the work with the officials of the concerned departments in the meeting.
“During the meeting I wanted to know about the present scenario of our departments and the present status of the various government’s schemes. We have also discussed about the demand and shortage of fish, meat and eggs in the west district with the officials of the department. In the coming days, so that the unemployed youth can be self-reliant to meet the shortage, it was discussed seriously in the meeting”, he said.
He also said that the SC boys and girls who are studying, are getting proper facilities and whether the benefits of various projects are reaching the scheduled people were discussed.
Minister said that it has been decided to hold a district-wise review meeting especially for the next three months. The meeting was attended by Deputy Mayor Monika Das Dutta, MLAs, District President and Additional District Commissioner.
